Last year I had the honor of speaking at MAX in Chicago for the first time. Having spoken at and attended many conferences, appearing at MAX was easily one of the highlights of my career. This year, especially with MAX 2008 being in my new ‘backyard’ of San Francisco, I hope to lead another exciting session.
In response to a Call for MAX speakers and sessions, I have posted the following:
Title: Building a Developer Platform for Flash, Flex and AIR
Description: A valuable session for both developers and web service providers, you will learn the exciting and rewarding approach of building a developer platform for Adobe’s Flash and Flex developer communities. Using Ribbit as an example, I will highlight the technology, code and swc component architecture as well as marketing and community building strategies used to take an innovative web service and package it to the most talented and creative rich internet application developers.
Building an API for developers gives you the chance to extend already great technology with newer, innovative services that add value to existing and new applications. If selected, I will get the chance to speak to all the above, in addition to sharing such great technology with my fellow community of coders.
I hope to see you at MAX 2008 in San Francisco.
Chuck,
I met you at Adobe Max and happen to be your number 1 user (still) on Gametripping.com (Kickntrue). I was actually reminded of the site because I’m catching a new ballpark next week and wanted to remember to write.
Anyway- I also run a RIA Recruiting Firm, Naugle Group (www.nauglegroup.com) and was hoping I could talk to you about it briefly. I’m not trying to hit you up personally- I just thought it may be a good blog post for other developers to be aware of. I see you’re going to be doing another Adobe presentation. Very cool. We put in our request to do one too.
Shoot me an email if you have any questions. I’d love to connect.
Thanks,
Andrew Brown
