Like so many of last year’s non-Adobe-employed speakers, I was not invited to speak at MAX this year. Thankfully, I was able to lobby Ribbit to obtain a significant presence at this year’s show (more details to come). I really enjoyed my first speaking experience at MAX last year and I am excited to be taking the stage, once again, this year.
Here are the details on my session:
Title: Make and Receive Phone Calls with Flash, Flex, or Adobe AIR
Description: Find out how easy it is to add phone capabilities to your Flex project using Ribbit’s SDK. Join Chuck Freedman, director of the developer platform at Ribbit, and learn about the wide range of new Ribbit features such as SMS, international calling, and security, plus learn how you can easily add Ribbit to Flash using customizable components for Flash CS3 and CS4 Professional. See inspirational Ribbit applications that represent some of the most imaginative, interactive, and profitable uses of the Ribbit SDK yet.
When: Monday, November 17, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Additionally, Ribbit team member Wes Leonardo willl be leading a community session over at 360 MAX on Wednesday between 10:00 am – 11:00 am.
We’re also exploring doing an FITC community presentation on Tuesday. I’ll post an update once we’ve organized that.
