After a timely break thru last night, I can comfortably say that my upcoming Visualizing Voice presentation is going to be my most exciting and ambitious yet. In addition to showcasing some very cool Flash microphone interaction, I’ll be demo-ing an unbelievable example of getting stereo microphone in Flash Player. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for almost a year, and with the incredible help and support of Genius Adam Flater and his magical Merapi, I am able to visualize real-time, distinct left and right stereo channels from my microphone in Flash Player.
Ok, all dates are official. Here’s where I’ll be presenting over the next month:
| date | event | location |
| 09.17 | Harvard Flash User Group | Cambridge, MA |
| 09.21 | Flash on the Beach | Brighton, UK |
| 09.24 | Oxford Flash User Group | Oxford, UK |
| 10.03 | Flashapaloozastock | Venice Beach, CA |
| 10.04 | FITC Unconference @ MAX | Los Angeles, CA |
| 10.17 | FITC Edmonton | Edmonton, AB, Canada |
None of this would be possible if not for my encouraging team at Ribbit. And, of course, I’ll be showing some of the latest and greatest Ribbit stuff too!
I hope to see you somewhere in the world at one or more of these great events. I’ll be posting my presentations at http://www.getmicrophone.com, so watch that space for updates as well.
