Make your phone ring with 7 different coding languages

October 29, 2009

On November 5, Ribbit will officially be blowing 7 different kinds of smoke at our Spawn developer event.
Seriously, the team has been hard at work, in some cases, auto-generating code so that you, no matter where you are in the world, and no matter what level coder you are, can make your phone ring via a web, desktop or mobile application. Check out this stunning line of diverse coding languages/platforms, each of which you can obtain and learn at the upcoming Ribbit Spawn event:

(* list is alphabetical, and not based on an order of simplicity, feature enrichment or coolness factor)

> Flash/Flex
> Java
> Javascript
> .Net
> PHP
> REST (not a language in itself, but a core, open offering so you can roll your own)
> Silverlight

Of course, making your phone ring isn’t the only thing you’ll be able to do. Full calling, messaging, and in the case of Flash/Flex, address book features are available to implement!

To find out more and register for this event, visit: http://developer.ribbit.com/blog/spawn/.
You can attend, in person, right in the heart of San Francisco. We’re also making all sessions available via webinar.
