Yahoo! Flash Platform Team at 360Flex

March 2, 2007 · Posted in Flash, Portfolio, Technology

The two part Yahoo! AS3/Flex2 API Library session will be hands on, so if you bring your laptops you are encouraged to code along. Led by all members of the Yahoo! Flash Platform Team (including Scott Morgan, Josh Tynjala, Allen Rabinovich, Hepp Maccoy, Alaric Cole and me, Chuck Freedman) you will get a first hand view at the brand-spanking-new AS3 libraries we’ve built for some of Yahoo!’s most popular and mashable APIs.

We plan to release all the new APIs at developer.yahoo.com/flash and announce the APIs at the conference. Additionally, gallery.yahoo.com/flash has been setup as a place for you to upload the mashups you create with our new API libraries (and with any other Flash/Flex/Apollo mashups you’ve done).

360Flex Lanyard for Spring 2006
Yahoo! Flash Platform Team Lanyards, available only at 360 Flex!

So join us for both parts of the session (Monday 16:00 to 17:20 and Tuesday 8:30 to 9:50). It is sure to be a lot of fun and we are excited to share with you are new AS3 API Libraries. Also note that Yahoo! is throwing a recruiting event Monday night, so if the idea of developing Flash apps for the largest audience on the web excites you, be sure to attend this event.

vivek, the Yahoo! Flash Platform team’s mission is to learn, use, and evangelize all aspects of Flash. We look at Flex, Flash Lite, AMF and Remoting, and all other Flash-centric technologies.

Yes, we would be the team to work with other properties here on Flashlite-related efforts.
